Dr. Francisco Gutierrez

Francisco Jose Gutierrez, MD, is a practicing internist and geriatrician in the city of Middletown, Rhode Island. Dr. Gutierrez received his Degree as a Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Evangelica de El Salvador, El Salvador. He subsequently did his residency and fellowship at Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island, New York. During this time, Dr. Gutierrez was very active in Clinical Research, and was awarded recognition as an author and contributor in several clinical studies.
Dr. Gutierrez is recognized by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Geriatrics. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the American College of Geriatric Specialists. Besides having a large Internal Medicine practice in Middletown, Rhode Island, he currently serves as the Medical Director at Heatherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Newport, RI. He also holds Medical Staff Privileges at Newport Hospital, Newport, Rhode Island, and is a member of Newport Hospital’s Medical Executive Committee. The Consumer Research Council of America recognized him as One of America’s Top Physicians for 2010.
Dr. Gutierrez joins the Lifemax Health Science Advisory Council with a goal of helping the world understand the importance of achieving and maintaining health and preventing illness through nutrition and exercise.
