For those of you who are new(er) to Twitter, it is a microblogging website through which you can post your status for your followers to see by posting a “tweet” — that is, a 140 character or less post in answer to the question, “What are you doing right now?”  Good Tweeters often tweet interesting articles, facts, or announcements to communicate with their followers.

A trend on Twitter allows groups to track tweets that all discuss the same subject.  In this case, we aim to compile all tweets about tonight’s Founders’ call into one place for everyone to see.  This is how we can filter out everything going on in the “Twitterverse” and view only the thoughts and expressions concerning our call.
