How Do You Dress to Impress?

It’s late on a Friday afternoon here at the home office, and as I’m wrapping up a few hot items for the week, one of the to-do’s I’ve just checked off is reviewing Lifemax Gear orders.  In reviewing spreadsheets to see how many are taking advantage of our currrent 25% off promotion, I made a few observations, and thought you may find them interesting as well.   

The most commonly purchased item we offer is our Mila t-shirt, with a variety of Lifemax polos trailing close behind.  I commend those of you who–regardless of choice in Mila vs. Lifemax–are promoting the business and dressing “the part.”  This really got me thinking…

How often have you met with someone who, though they may have been articulate and personable, just didn’t seem to look like they well-represented whatever they were promoting?  Did their look (or, more importantly, their LACK of a certain look) deter you from buying in?  Was their appearance indicative of a man or woman who clearly identified with their product or company? 

How do YOU show YOUR true colors? 

Maybe you have a favorite Mila sweatshirt you wear.  Or perhaps you’re more of a “bling” type of person.  Do you own enough Lifemax polos to avoid doing laundry every other day?  Do you take pride in showing off your Mila attitude (would that be…Milatude?) or are you more interested in promoting the Lifemax opportunity?

How fortunate we are to work in an industry where “dressing the part” means finding our own unique identity, and wearing whatever Gear product best represents our personality!  I feel a wave of pride hit me when I wear my Gear, and I get that same feeling when I see Founders Jim and Sherri Wear come in wearing theirs (Sherri was sporting a Mila sweatshirt today), or when I see our top leaders pop in for a meeting wearing their favorite polos, hats, pins, and shirts.

Gear Up!

I encourage you to take pride in showing your Lifemax and Mila colors.  Wear your Gear to meetings, in-homes, events, and even while running errands.  In this industry, every person you meet is an opportunity, and wearing your Gear lets the company brand speak for you.

Celebration in the Home Office

We are just wrapping up another busy week here at the home office, and between prepping for Monday’s big announcement on the Founders’ Call, promoting some upcoming Super Saturday events, and answering an onslaught of calls and emails about our Foundation Campaign to send relief to Haiti, we have all taken pause to celebrate a big day for Proud Papa and President, Mr. Mike Battistelli

In case you haven’t heard the big news today, Mike and his bride Kate have just learned that their daughter, Grammy-nominated Francesca Battistelli, has just been nominated for another five Dove Awards, including Artist of the Year!

Lifemax Launches Foundation; Aids Haiti Victims

Foundation Campaign Provides Relief to Latin America and Africa

ORLANDO, FL (February 17, 2010)—Lifemax®, a network marketing company known for Mila®, the world’s healthiest whole raw food, has officially launched their Foundation and tallied the results of its premier campaign to aid the victims of the devastating Port-au-Prince earthquake and provide support to other third-world countries.  The campaign ran over a 15-day period in late January and contributed one dollar for every 16-ounce bag of Mila purchased.

Lifemax, Inc. and the Lifemax Foundation teamed up with Dr. Mark Chironna Ministries to send a forty thousand pound container with corn, beans, rice and medical supplies to Haiti earlier this month.  Together, the contributions from these organizations represented 200,000 meals.  With additional funds leftover from the Lifemax campaign, the company sent another container of medical supplies that included heart medicine, antibiotics, gauze, and bandages to accompany the Haiti-bound shipment.

In addition to the Haiti relief, Lifemax has also shipped 500 pairs of children’s underwear to an orphanage in Uganda, and has announced the completion of a boys’ dormitory in Mozambique which will provide shelter and warmth for the children who, for the past two years, had nothing more than tents outside in which to sleep.

“We are just getting started, and the overall goal of our Foundation is to touch the four corners of the earth,” commented Lifemax Founder Sherri Wear, “and though the needs of the world are seemingly endless, [Lifemax Founder] Jim and I will continue to support one effort after another through the Lifemax Foundation.”

The Lifemax Foundation plans to launch www.LifemaxFoundation.org within the coming months.  “Of course we are encouraging donations,” commented Sherri Wear, “and a splash page is already set-up to assist us in this effort, but the core focus of the site will be to explain our mission, share our message, build awareness, and shed light on the world’s needs and how Lifemax intends to contribute to the solution.”
