Olivarez to Head Foundation; Smith to Lead Marketing and Communication Efforts Worldwide

Olivarez comes to Lifemax with over 10 years of experience as a nonprofit consultant where she has designed, developed, and delivered more than 100 seminars and workshops nationwide attracting more than 5,000 participants annually. Her workshops assist hundreds of nonprofit organizations through the longest, most complicated form the IRS has ever made. She has a 100% success rate and is the most sought after expert for setting up and maintaining nonprofit corporations.
Olivarez has dedicated her life to public service through her 20 years of service in the United States Navy. She is a volunteer counselor for SCORE Orlando® and a board advisor to several nonprofit organizations nationwide. Her clients range from doctors, attorneys, churches, and many social organizations that serve the community. Olivarez served as the former Executive Director of the Colon & Rectal Educational & Research Institute of Florida. She is the President of Multiplying Talents™ where she trains Certified Nonprofit Consultants. She is the author of “The Power of the 501(c)(3)”, and her first book, “The Best Guide for Nonprofit Corporations” is being used as a textbook for Life Christian University and many other bible colleges. She holds an AS degree in culinary arts from Johnson & Wales University, a bachelor’s degree in theology from Life Christian University, and a bachelor’s in business management from the University of Phoenix.
Smith joins Lifemax with a background in communication and marketing. Early in her career, she worked in account service for two of Florida’s award-winning advertising agencies. Later, Smith held the position of corporate marketing manager for the fastest-growing homebuilder in the country, Transeastern Homes. She then served as the director of marketing for Century Marketing International, designing and executing multi-million dollar sales and marketing plans. Smith went on to hold the position of vice president of marketing & business development for iTell Ventures, Inc. Most recently, Smith was hired by CollaborateMD to build their in-house marketing and communication department.
Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Florida State University and a master’s degree in management from the University of Central Florida. In 2006, Smith was awarded the distinguished title of Marketing Director of the Year for major achievements in marketing excellence by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Central Florida HBA.
